Swimming Pool Notice
Did you receive a swimming pool notice on your door?
Unmaintained swimming pools are the top mosquito-producing sources in the residential areas of Tulare County. If left unmaintained, a single swimming pool can produce thousands of mosquitoes in as little as one week and can become a PUBLIC HEALTH RISK. The District inspects and treats green, unmaintained swimming pools during the mosquito season to reduce the abundance of mosquitoes and the risk of disease transmission.
I received a swimming pool notice but my swimming pool is CLEAN or COMPLETELY DRY. What should I do?
Confirm the condition of your pool by uploading a picture below (Option 1).
Please note our system is not flawless and sometimes mistakes are made. If you received this notice in error, please contact the District to update our records.
Option 1 ~ Clean / Dry Pool
Upload a photo of your swimming pool. The photo MUST include the Swimming Pool Notice and the deep end of the pool. If your swimming pool is completely dry the picture must include a close-up of the deep end drain along with the Notice.
*** Please Note Although a Completely dry pool will not breed mosquito larvae, a completely dry swimming pool is prone to costly structural damage. The District, in no way recommends that anyone empty their pool and encourages residents to research the negative impact of removing the water before doing so.

Option 2 ~ Green Pool
If you have a green swimming pool either in ground or above ground, please fill out the form below to schedule a time to set up a FREE inspection and FREE mosquito treatment of your swimming pool.
Once control is established, District staff will make inspections/treatments every 2-4 weeks to ensure the pool is not breeding mosquitoes. If you check the box below giving District staff permission to access your pool, you do not need to be present during inspection.
