Jacob has worked for multiple districts throughout his career.  He began his profession as a seasonal technician at Delta Vector Control District in 2010.  Jacob has also worked for Consolidated Mosquito Abatement as a surveillance technician and  Kings Mosquito Abatement District as an Area Supervisor.  In 2021 he was hired here at the District as the Operations Director, responsible for all day-to-day operations.

Jacob grew up in Visalia where he graduated from Mt. Whitney High School and graduated from the University of California Santa Barbara.  He is certified by the State of California Department of Public Health Vector Control in all 4 categories.  He is a member of the Mosquito and Vector Control Association of California, the American Mosquito Control Association, and the Society For Vector Ecology.
